Our story

An Ecuadorian brand with an international vision

Kanya Tropics is an Ecuadorian food brand born with the vision of bringing the flavors and richness of our tropics to consumers around the world. We carefully select fruit from our own farms and partners to create products with the authentic taste of our land.

It was born from a family vision: we grew up with plantain as part of our culture and wanted to turn it into something that reaches new consumers, while keeping the flavor and essence that make it part of our identity. Kanya honors the legacy of the Kanyat family, a surname of Chinese origin unique in Ecuador.

We want every Kanya Tropics product to be a way to discover Ecuador.
